AFNI Collections sent me a verizon bill for $1800 that isn't mine. Even verizon said it wasn't mine, but it's still on my credit report thanks to afni collections. And I can't even get a repsonse from them! ripoff Bloomington Illinois

I recieved a collections letter from AFNI for $1800 from a verzion bill. After speaking with verizon, they told me they never had an account with my name or SS on it and that I don't owe them any money. They aren't trying to collect anyting from me. Yet somehow, AFNI has managed to add it on my credit report, even AFTER the debt-holder said it wasn't me!! HOW IS THE FAIR?
