I received a collection notice from this company stating that I owed over 950 dollars to verizon communications.

I have never used verizon nor have I ever had the phone # that they state on the notice.

When I tried to go the their web address I was sent to rip off report as I am not the first person that they have sent this to.

After reading several of the reports listed, I immediatley printed a letter to send certified mail requesting verification that this is my bill and to halt all collection attempts.

Can I do anything further to protect myself?

These lowlife at AFNI are the lowest of the industry. I would just file a lawsuit on them now.

I know for a fact the AFNI will NEVER provide validation, and they will ignore CEASE Comm requests.

You know for a fact the debt is not yours, right?

Therefore you are entitled to damages resulting from the frivolous collections attempt. get paid for your time, expenses and stress in dealing with this nonsense.

Sue them now, as this is the only thing these punks understand.
