I signed a service contract with this company for 2 years at a cost of $200.00. My Amana air conditioner broke down on June 28th, 2006. I called Air Around the Clock and soemone arrived at 4:15 the following day. He told me it was too late in the day to order the motor and fan that was required for the necessary repair. The parts were still under warrenty but were in Miami. I am in Fort Lauderdale. It took 1 week from the time I called this company until the repair was made. It cost $475.00 and took 1 1/2 hours to do. They told me that the shipping and labor is what cost so much. Shipping from Miami to Fort Lauderdale and 1 and 1/2 hours labor $475.00?! I don't think so. This company ripped me off.

I FILED MY REPORT TODAY AND THIS IS THERE WAY OF GETTING OUT OF THE FACT THEY RIPPED OFF THIS WOMAN TOO.
They shouldnt keeping getting reports removed because if the rip off report will keep a eye on this I bet you see more and more rip off reported by people.
I am still in shock by the way I was treated and I still have no filters and they made it clear I wasnt getting my money back. Do not give this company a dime!!!!
You will regret it ...

We do not know who this customer is we have thousands of service calls a year and without knowing the situation we can not remedy it.
Unless we can have the customers information it would be appreciated if the anonymous posting was removed.
We do many warranty calls and there are expenses involved in the repoair other than the motor itself. Once again without info about the person, we cannot satisfy them.
