The company advertised one of the lowest prices for a new Canon Sl1 camera body.  They show $425 with no shipping cost.  By the time the sales work is over the bill was up to $618.  I asked for a printed invoice to go over the details of just what I was getting for the money.  Two e mails were sent promising this information.  Finally after writing and calling, I got an invoice 24 hours later.  It showed $609 for the $425 camera, no charges for some cleaning kit and special battery and $9 for the (free) shipping.  No explanation of what was included to get to $609.  I called the store 6 times, tried all 3 departments.  I was put on eternal hold each time. Once I was passed to 3 differnt voices each putting me on hold for the next.  Finally I attempted to cancel my order and then they would just hang up on me or not take the new call.  I guess they recognized the number.

I called my credit card company who will be cancellling the order for me.

It is not so much how quickly they moved the price in their fast pitch, but the refusal to let you look over the details of what was included, why was there a differntial in price and why they charge things like shipping which was supposed to be free or added some special insurance to the shipping in case the camera was lost.  If the camera is lost in mailing it to the customer, it is not the customer's responsibility to make sure it gets to himself.

These are fast talking big city boys who know all the tricks of quick phone pumps in price and getting a deal closed without telling you what you need to know.

I read that if you are not satisfied (you found you have been screwed) they want a 15% restocking fee, this is according to some other complaints on the internet.

I would rather do business with an Adorama or someone who will talk to you after the "close" and give you all the attention and explanation of the deal to begin.

 I have been waiting 2 weeks for a response to my cancelation of an order.  Camera was advertized at $425.  After a lot of fast talking, Jeff the salesman said it would be somewhat more but unspecific.  He sent an e mail bill.  The only detail was abot $10,00 for shipping even though the ad said shipping as included.  Now the total had grown to $618.99 for the same camera (and no tax charges because I am out of state).

They have not sent the camera, they have not refunded the total to my already charged credit card and they will not take my calls.  I have been put on hold for 15 minutes at a time, hung up on when they detect my phone number, told to wait until their billing department opens at 11:00 am NYC time and once I was passed to 3 different people who each kept me on hold for 6 - 7 minutes and no one could help me.

{This place is not located in Georgia but in NYC.}

They have many complaints show in various web sites all of them entail the basic same thing.  They pump up the price on line, give you no details in billing, instantly hit your credit card and refused to acknowlege questions, details of billing, cancellations, rejection of merchandise or late deliveries if and when they ever come according to the other complaints and mine.
