All My Sons Moving & Storage was hired to move me five miles from a 4 BR home to a 3 BR home.  I was quoted $1,800 for the move.  They showed up late and with a 26 foot truck.  It took them 18 hours to make the move (never completed the entire move) and I was charged $3,100 with the overtime.  The head mover was told by his manager when he called at 3am in the morning to "NOT TO UNLOAD THE FINAL LOAD UNTIL I PAID THEM".  I hired this company based on a radio commercial I heard with the "owner" David Lonus saying "we guarantee a satisfied moving experience" and he gives out his personal cell number.  I called him the next day and got nowhere.  After I got a lawyer involved I was refunded just a little over $700 which still made this move very expensive still.  THERE"S MORE..............they never even completed the move and we had to finish the next day which took us six more hours using a car and a pick-up truck.  They left damage both at the house we moved from and to the house we moved into.  The owner said to get it repaired and send him the bill - this was done but I never received reimbursement.  I was told by someone else who used this company after the fact that they intend to show up with a small truck so they can charge the overtime.  I was not even told there was an overtime rate.  To summarize....I was quoted $1,800 and paid a net of approximately $2,400 for this short local move.  By the way - don't take the time to listen to their pitch they will place furniture at your new residence - that's a bunch of bull.  And the free wardrobe box offer...geez, such a rip-off !!  And don't write "FRAGILE - DO NOT STACK" on any boxes - that was completely ignored.  Stay away from this mover - there are many others much more reputable.  I reported to the BBB & they already had a grade of C-.
