Allen, Lewis And Associates Use scare tactics and illegal practices and claims to collect debits ripoff Jacksonville Florida

This company is unbelievable. I recevied a call out of the blue from a Mike Knight claiming to be an attorney and stated I rented a violin almost 10 years prior and never returned it.

I never did but I had a feeling someone used my identity and had an idea who it may have been.

He stated the company was ready to take legal action and there was a civil and criminal suit against me. Any actual attorney as well as any intelligent person knows a business can't take you to civil court.

I stated I wanted to get this taken care of and then asked for my bank account number stating that was the only way to get it taken care of. I told him without something in writing I wasn't giving him a dime. He became rude and unprofessional and stated "This is hurting your credit, don't you ever look at that?" I am in the market for a new house so I look at it all the time, and don't have any outstanding debts. He continued to threaten me with lawsuits.

I ended the phone call stating I don't know any supposed attorney that can't send me something in writing this is outlandish.

I had my boyfriend called acting as my attorney and he had to leave a message and asked that all calls be directed to him. He never received a phone call.

About 2 months later the same guy called me again and left a message.

This company has over 66 complaints in 36mo, 17 within the last 12 with the Better Business Bureau. There are debt collection forums with masses of people with the same complaints as I am making here. This company uses scare tactics to get money from people stating they are attorneys, which they are not so their tactics are illegal. Don't let them scare you into money. If you know you owe a company money get in touch with them directly.
