I had applied for a personal loan on the internet last week. Today I get a phone call at work from Gerald Coleman with Alliance Lending, telling me that I had been approved for a $5000.00 loan with an 8% interest rate, with the loan term of 2 years; However because of my poor credit, I would have to secure this loan by making 4 of the monthly payments up front, in the amount of $900.00, and then then loan would be deposited in my account with in 24 hours. So I kindly asked Mr. Coleman to fax over the information and let me review it, and he did. Wow, it all looks so legit. I am very cautious, I of course researched these people on the internet, and found out how many people have been scammed. Can you believe that nobody actually receives their loan money after they send in the security deposit. When they sent the faxed paperwork to me, they actually dial *67 before my fax number, in order to block the number where the fax was coming from. So to be funny, I called this company back, and by all means you have to leave a message, you can't ever reach anyone directly. I pretended to be interested so that theyd call and they did; and boy did I have alot of questions for them, that they couldn't answer. This company is a huge scam, they were formally using the name of North Alliance Lending, and its amazing the reports you can find on them. I luckily did not fall for this scam, but many have, and my heart goes out to all of you. These peolple should have the pants sued off of them. I have kept all the faxed paperwork if anyone needs it for a lawsuit. So sorry to anyone who lost money to these people.
