Take note that most all of the positive reviews are from New York. Moving in the west with Alliance was a disaster. They don't own their own trucks. They contract out to other companies, which I was told they didn't! They have the workers come into your home on moving day and tell you, you owe double what you were quoted, which I actually kicked them out of my house and told them to leave and then they kept harassing me that I would not get my deposit back if I did not proceed with them. I was promised all of my things would be on one truck. That did not happen!! It is now 30 days later and I still don't have 30% of my valuables. Important things that I need and are valuable, totaling in value at $10,000. This doesn't include all of the damage they caused to the furniture they did deliver. My baby grand piano $4,000, a buffet that cost 5,000. My pulaski bedroom furniture that cost $8,000. They damaged my previous home gouging the wall through the drywall, denting the wood in several places on the stairs and scratching the wood floor. They have done nothing about it. They disposed of a tire on my front property.  They refused to put several furniture items back together as was promised.  They left a huge pile of garbage for me to take care of.  They did not package my flat screen tv, or my washer properly and so now they are damaged as well. The list goes on...A worker even harrassed my 10 year old son!!!

My advice is to call the FMCSA at 1-888-368-7238, and check a company out before you hire them. I wish I would have known this. Call the FMCSA and ask. They have several complaints against them!!
