Allied Grant Writers Of America ripoff, scam, Las Vegas Nevada

We called Allied Grant Writers after hearing about them on a radio program. Initially they asked us to pay $600 which would entitle us to information on companies that we could apply for grants from and they claimed that they would help us do all this.

After speaking with them further, and finding the whole process of trying to get a grant rather daunting we were told that for an additional $2500 most everything would be done for us. We would work with there grant writers who would help us through each step and guide us through the writing process so we would have the best possible chance of getting funded.

They were very good at communicating with us in the beginning but once they had our money, they pretty much disappeared. The excuse being that once we put our grant request and letter of intent out there it was a waiting game, patiently waiting for companies to show interest. More likely Allied Grant Writerswere focusing on getting money from other prospective grant seekers because we didn't hear from them much after that.

When we persisited with many complaints and phone calls we enventually were able to talk with someone who basically smoothed our feathers, we even got a signed contract with them stating they would supply us with a letter of intent, business plan, and business proposal, and continue submitting it to companies until we were funded. But what we should have done is just gotten our money back because we have not heard from them again.

We've tried contacting them via e-mail, and phone calls (line is disconnected), and their website even provides an e-mail address for those clients "that have grants that still need to be written" but so far no one has contacted us.

So basically we've lost our $3000. IF anyone has had any luck getting their money back we'd love to hear about it!
