As reported previously by Mickster of Eugene Oregan on June 26 2014  I had a similar experience.  My degree was in 2004. 

I'm now being asked to pay half of a $1500 requirement to have my degree go through a "US Attestation by the US Department of State and the Secretary of State John Kerry" just to have it verified for employement.  This information was presented to my on 2/2/16 by a Dr. Alex Brown.  Not only that but I recieved 4 calls yesterday from the same individual pressuring me to complete this transaction.  I have all documents regarding this transaction if anyone is interested.

I am being told that my credientials will be on February 20th 2015 if I do not submit the fees.

Almeda University They informed me that I would recive a degree that was accreditted by US dept of education which was not true they received 900 dollars from me and did not send a degree. I attempted to contact them after I did not receive the degree or job I was offered and it was to no avail no one answered however they answered to get my credit card information to receive the 900 dollars. I am without a job and my 900 dollars. Boise Idaho

Almeda University - Dr Lawson, Legal Dept. I applied for a Bachelor and Master degree around 1995. I received both within a few weeks. Then I researched accreditation and found the Diploma's weren't worth the paper that they were printed on.  Boise Idaho
