Like the other people that have reported Alpha Financial Foundations, I became their latest victim. They got $1490 of my cash, that I had to borrow, plus $99 in Western Union fees for an insurance policy to secure my $15000 loan. First, I completed all 10 pages of their contract, faxed it back. I was told they needed $1490 before my loan could be processed in order to purchase an insurance policy to secure my loan. My loan consultant was also Christine Williams. I was very excited that I'd get an 8.5 % interest rate and my loan amount would be $265/mo spread out over 6 yrs. My first payment wasn't due for 60 days! They received my payment via Western Union to Onika Samuel on October 26th, my money was to be wired to my account by 2p October 30th. Well 2p passed, and I contacted them. They said they were backed up and would get it deposited by 5p. At 5p, still not there. Meanwhile, my wife searched the internet and came across this website. Unbelievable! I just wish these complaints were here(though I don't wish this to happen to anybody) when we searched before to make sure it wasn't a scam! I guess I searched too soon because the first report wasn't filed until October 20th, and I'd already given all my information 2 days before! I contacted Christine today, to question what happened. I got the "there's a problem with your loan" spill. After being informed of their scam thanks to ripoffreports, I quickly said, "Oh, let me guess, you need more money to pay foreign taxes?" She said, "yeah, we forgot to include that in the original application." I said, "just like you forgot to do that to the other 5 people (speaking of those who filed a report here) I found out about on the internet?" She said, "We need $410 to cover the taxes and your money will be deposited in 24 hours." I said OK and hung up. I will request a refund, but I am believing that I'll never see it. However, I did file a report today with the FBI so hopefully they can put a stop to this!
