Do not buy anything from amazon.com ever! They do not protect the customer as advertised, moreover they do not remove the seller if he is committing fraud or due to the number of negative feedbacks.


Purchased a NOKIA Unlocked cell from from HassleFreeCell thru amazon.com. The package arrived a week later, but after opening it i found T-Mobile phone in a regular T-Mobile box. Called them right away, talked to 2 different people, both having either chinese or indian accents. They haven't only tried to assure me that the phone was unlocked, but they told me in a very rude manner that "it was my problem that i don't like the logo on the phone and on the box". The lady even told me that "they have no control over the description and pictures posted on amazon by themselves". They refused to resolve the situation in any way. 


I submitted a negative feedback on amazon.com and filed a claim against this company thru amazon. Half an hour later received a call from Indian guy stating that he was the owner of the company, that i "cost him lots of money and trouble" because of the leaving the feedback. That was a "very nice" start. Then he offered to send me another unit UNLOCKED again, with saturday delivery, but..i had to remove my feedback from amazon immediately. I refused to do so and was trying to end the conversation, but he started to be very pushy and extremely rude, did not give me a chance to say a single word, so i had to end the conversation. 


I refused the package which arrived via USPS. It was almost 10 days ago. Today got a reply from amazon that the seller did not receive the item back and my claim was denied, because they believed the seller (not paying attention to all those negative feedbacks HassleFreeCell has on their own web). it was "very nice" from amazon not to protect the customer, who bought the stuff thru them. It is very unprofessional from big company like them to let this kind of merchants even list their products on the web.


My only option now is to dispute the charge with my credit card company, which i am doing right now.
