I signed up for a trial Amazon Web Store in September 2007- I never logged back in after creating the trial store because I got ill and was not even on the computer. At some point, I'm guessing after 30 days, I got an email that said my account had been disabled due to me not setting up my store properly and that to Re-enable my store I would have to contact them. Since I was ill and didn't even ever set up the store I just let it go thinking ok thats fine - no worries, I can't run it right now anyway. Everything was fine, then all of the Sudden on Jan 17th they deduct $119.98 out of my bank account via debit card. Then again on Feb 14th they did the same thing they took another $119.98. And then come to find out they had been attempting every day to take the amount out but couldn't because I don't keep much money in that account.

I wrote to them immediately and asked what is up? I thoought my store was disabled and was disabled because I never set it up? They said Yes that is true - you do not have a store and it is disabled for that reason, but we still charge you every month $59.99 for a store. I said wait a minute? Why no charges in Oct, Nov Dec? Why none till Jan? and then Again in Feb? They never would answer? I requested daily refunds, I told them I was going to turn it in as fraud, and to the www.ripoffreport.com - they closed my account so I can't even log in and send msgs and then they sent me this in reply but didn't even mention my money/refund.

but the funny thing is since they canceled my account - I can't even login to respond and say no you didnt answer my ??? or solve my issue.

I think they think since they are amazon they are able to get away with stealing from people like this but I am not stopping till I get my money back.
