First off we just brought a house back in April and we brought a gold home warranty as part of the deal.

Well the company name is America First Choice.

The first time I called them due to the freezer draw that was not working right they sent out a repair guy who told me that the part wasn't  covered after paying this tech a service fee.

I called America First Choice and asked why but they told me the same thing that it's not covered.

A few months later one of the air unit compressors went down and I called America First Choice again and I was told to have an HVAC company come out and look for the problem. Well it was the condenser unit that was bad and needed to be replaced

I called America First Choice again and at first they said that they would pay for the repair so instead of repairing the condenser we decided to upgrade the two HVAC units because the tech said that we needed to install a new system and not just the condenser.

I was told to send in the invoices on the first HVAC company that came out to check the condenser and the repair bill that was part of the total bill for the two new units.

Now here comes their catch ( America First Choice ) scam.

They want me to prove that the units were being serviced prior to the breakdown of the condenser.

Well if I only just brought the house a few months ago how in the world do I provide the service records.

So it looks like I was scammed again. 

I called today and was told, because I didn't have any service records on the unit I wasn't covered.

They said that they would offer the next service call free and complete coverage on the new air units after a year.

So why in the world would I buy another home warranty from a company that doesn't even pay for anything that their company says it covers.

I can only say buyer beware.
