America Online, AOL dishonest fraudulent billing rude ripoff invasive Tucson Arizona

I cancelled AOL on Sept. 25, 2004 (computer in the shop) and I got billed for $24.95 from AOL Broadband. I cannot access AOL, it says (the webpage)I need to have an account to view billing, obviously I don't have an account because I cancelled it.

I called billing (transferred to Broadband billing) and the guy said I don't have an account. I said I want to be reimbursed for $24.95 then. He said he would check and see if I was billed from somewhere else.
I said no, I am upset, I am right, (on hold forever) I have no account, I want to be reimbursed (I may have been loud, yes)But I want to be reimbursed. He said, "Have a nice day." and He hung up on me!
NOT good customer service at all. I use AOL off and on again for various reasons for 7 years now, possibly would have started up again at a later date, but now I may not.

I still want $24.95 put back into my account and remove my information from your databases.

I have called (twice), emailed them, wrote a letter, called my bank, called them again. I have emailed the Federal Trade Commission about this.

I have been billed since, again on Oct.20,2004 for $23.90 and again on Nov.1, 2004 (bank entry date)for $24.95.

I have been online reading the complaints filed against AOL and am disgusted. I just can't imagine how a Fortune 500 company like TimeWarner can let this continue without investigating their OWN company (Don't YOU have ANY good work ethics?!) We as consumers can't All be wrong or mistaken.

Who is going to stop this??!!!!
