AHMSI is claiming that they erroneously credited my mortgage payments and then took 2 payments out of my history and increased my principal balance. I have made all payments on time and actually made 2 payments in one month so I am really one month ahead.

AHMSI refuses to fix my account and has reported to the credit bureaus that I am behind on my mortgage causing my credit score to drop from a 701 to a 627 middle score. Credit lines have been decreased on three of my credit cards because of this (they actually state due to a delinquent credit obligation) and I was denied a $500.00 overdraft on a new business account that I was setting up. I am trying to purchase a restaurant and get accounts set up in regards to restaurant supplies, etc. This is going to kill my chances of negotiating the purchase of the restaurant and the accounts needed to run the business.

I have made all payments on time, my credit is spotless. I have my banking account history toprove that I have never missed a payment. I need help. Seeking an Attorney or someone with the name of the guy who sued ths company and won....I need his Attorney!

My original loan was with Taylor, Bean & Whitaker. AHMSI took over servicing. This loan is on an investment property that I own. I currently have 35 rental units and multiple mortgages and am the Branch Manager at a Mortgage Lender. I need an Attorney who can help me. Please file a report or rebuttal to my post and it should e-mail me.

any luck?

AUTHOR: tomd - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, April 29, 2011

AHMSI did the exact same thing to me. In Nov 2010 I received a letter stating I missed a payment in Aug of 2009 (yes 2009). when I called to get an explaination, the indicated, when I was with Taylor Whitaker and Bean, a payment was not posted and for some reason they had to do TWO "payment reversals". They could not explain why. I've sent them all my bank statements from June 2009 to March 2011 showing I have never missed a payment. And since AHMSI took over my account (Nov 2010), they HAVE accepted all my payments (checks and e-payments) and have NEVER done a "payment reversal".

today April 29th is the day they said their Resolution Department will have an answer for me based on all my faxes and info I have provided them. If they still say I am missing a payment, I don't know what I will be able to do next. I'm thinking about going to the GA Attorney General.
