My husband and I received a letter from the American Home Relief Foundation, LLC.  The letter stated that we were delinquent on our mortgage, and the letterhead attempted to make it look like something official, citing FHA.  


We are not and have never been delinquent on our mortgage, but I am afraid that other people who have received this letter will be tricked into calling this company.  This is a scare tactic, and it is fraudulent of this company to tell people that they are delinquent on their mortgage just to get them on the phone so that the company can try to get them to modify their loan.

If you receive a letter from the American Home Relief Foundation, do not call them- they are NOT trying to help you, they are trying to rip you off by playing on your fears.  If you have a question about your loan, call your lender (the bank who gave you the loan.)  Do not be tricked by this company or another like it!

This company should be sued for using these scare tactics on innocent homebuyers.
