American Knights employee Lillian Vasquez called July 3 on her boyfriend's cell number to tell me that the furniture was delivered by Good Move in California and that it would be delivered the following day. The furniture arrived 6 hours late from their Houston warehouse at 5824 Waltrip Street, Houston, Texas.
Cameron (?) the driver would not open the truck door until I gave him the $1407. When they opened the back truck door it was apparent that the furniture was damaged. We had missing IKEA furniture and other household items. We also learned that our wedding and family pictures were missing. After 3 days of inspecting our boxes and calling American Knights at least 8 times and talking to Lillian, Angela, and Lisa, Max aka Kobi.
I was finally told that they threw away our IKEA king size mattress (due to mold) and that they opened up our boxes and repackaged them. Nobody ever bother to call the consumer to tell them to go to their warehouse and inspect the delivery. They went threw our boxes and stole a number of items valued at 10,000.00. All of our furniture is damaged. Our furniture had water damage and all of our clothes were ruined. Shoes were stolen, with a number of electronic items. Lisa and Max and Kobi claimed they took pictures of the ruined mattress, but it was simply a corner of the mattress and the mattress tag. There act is illegal and is called: THIEF OF PERSONAL PROPERTY.
When we arrived at American Knights office a man approached us and said, "What do you want you are in my house?" The man refused to identify himself, he wanted us to leave when we told him who we were. He said he would call the police, I said, "Go ahead, I will too." In a matter of two minutes while he was outside, he came back in and said, "Leave, do you want to beat me up?" It became apparent that this man has a psychological problem is simply a thief caught in the act. When we refused to leave the police officer who was out of our view, asked us to come outside. Apparently, Kobi wanted to seem as if we threatened him. We simply wanted to talk to the manager or owner to find out where our furniture and other items were. We spoke to the police while Kobi was trying to listen. Then when the police spoke to him, he took the officer inside his office so we wouldn't listen.
While we waited we noticed that our blue appliance dolly that was taped around our refrigerator was outside his office. I told the police officer and Kobi. Kobi told the police officer, "They can have it!" Why? if it belonged to him? Because Kobi is a thief, he hides behind assumed names and he intimidates his employees to lie. Kobi refused to answer any questions even in front of the police officer.
The above named company will be sued in civil court and then be charged in Criminal court for THIEF OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. Which should be jail time for all involved.
