I called American Leak Detection to repair an air leak as well as a water leak. The work was done and I had no problems for a couple of weeks and then the Air Leak returned.

After making numerous call to them someone finally returned my call only to tell me my warranty period had expired. After explaining to the that I called numerous times only two weeks after the repair was made, they conveniently claimed they never received the calls.

I now have the same problem I had before they arrived but have spent $260.00 for nothing. Florida seems to be the place where people prey on the elderly. My wife and I are both almost 70 and we raise our grandchild, so funds are tight to say the least.

With social security and a small pension being our only source of income it makes thing that much more difficult when we are taken advantage of financially. May be no one reads these reports as American Leak Detection Claims, but we certainly hope so.

Within 24 hours of submitting my complaint to Ripoff report American leak detection contacted me. I was informed that the individual that refused to correct the problem was no longer with the company.

They were extremely apologetic and corrected the problem promptly. Thank you for being there for us Ripoff report. I certainly wish we didn't have to resort to this to resolve problems, however we honestly feel that without Ripoff Report the would not have been resolved.
