American Relocation LLC Dishonest, hidden charges, threats and lost furniture Baltimore Maryland

Do not use American Relocation LLC. They do not disclose fees upfront, they take on many hidden charges, they charge you for things that werent used and they lose your furniture.

I was initially told that storage for my furnture was free. They called me the day of the move, to tell me it would cost me $300.00 for overnight storage. When I asked why I wasnt told about it up front, they told me the girl I spoke to was new and didnt know. Then, when I told them that it should've been disclosed to me upfront, especially after I repeated asked if there was a charge for storage, they threated to remove my furniture from the truck and halt the move.

They charged me for extra packing material that was never used.

Finally, to add insult to injury, they lost a piece of my mother's antique furniture. When I called to report it, they told me that it would be delivered the following week. It is now 2 months later and I still don't have it.

This was a horrible experience. Moving is stressful enough. The business you deal with to move your furniture should NOT be causing even more stress by overcharging you. losing your furniture, then ignoring your calls and emails when you try to get in touch with them.
