ARLG was hired to work on my behalf for a loan modification after multiple unsuccessful attempts on my own.  As per all of the information that was sent to me after, of course, the retainer fee was obtained, no evidence of any accomplishments, in fact, it was just the opposite.  It was impossible, during this time, to contact anyone in regards to questions.  The initial services where stated as if they were to keep in contact with me on a weekly basis and I received a total of 3 email the entire time leading up to the letter that would disregard ARLG from any resposibility or continuation of services without regards to reimbursement of any sort.

Conveniently, the FTC Mortgage Assistance Relief Services Rule effective Jan. 31, 2011, ARLG could no longer assist me in what they were already paid to do which was why this rule was established in the first place.  Is this company (ARGL) a scam office and that is why the FTC would not allow them to continue any services?

The process was to take 90-180 days and maybe longer, they were hired on Oct. 19, 2010 and the letter was sent was sent Jan. 17, 2011, that's 120 days worth of potential resulution.  Still that's 14 days left before the supposed rule to take effect, so with 134 days, nothing resolved....?????

This group in turn shifted my case to the Law offices of William O'Toole, Esquire, in which the services were to be free of charge for all of the ARLG existing clients, however, upon contacting this law firm, this was not the case.  Additional fees where requested for their assistance, which I am now unable and unwilling to continue at this point.  I've already spent $2,050.00 on nothing and I just can't see spending $2,000.00 more which is what O'Toole's office is asking for continuation of their services.
