America's Best refused to release my prescription without an order of contacts.

I made my intentions clear, over the phone, that I would only purchasing an eye exam- and that I would fill my prescription elsewhere, when setting the appointment.

After the exam, I was forced to pay the sum of the exam plus a minimum order of contacts or I would not receive my FREE trial wear lenses. She, nor her superiors would NOT let me pay for the exam itself.

When questioned about the 'extra charges' the store manager concluded that I was not 'mislead' and that I may indeed fill my prescription elsewhere- just as long as I filled my first prescription with America's Best.

I wrote America's Best a check for the sum, in which, I cancelled directly after I left said location, as I did not receive the goods/services I just paid for. (Prescription)

America's Best Inc., has since sought means of at least (1) collections agency to obtain money from me over 1 years time.

As a contact lens wearer of some 13 years, I have never experienced anything like it.
