We purchased a puppy from Puppy Town in Carson City NV.  They get their puppies from America's Premier Pets in Macon, MI.  2 weeks after bringing our puppy home (Pom-Tzu) we decided to take her in to OUR vet and see why she keeps scratching her right ear and still having diarrhea.  Well, come to find out she had a DOUBLE EAR INFECTION and Giardia.  After paying $429.92 for the puppy, we had to shell out another $150.00 to the vet for the exam and medications.  I consider this shop a puppy mill.  They get there dogs from back east (America's premier Pets) and sell them locally.  I am this because of the nature of the diseased condition we received the puppy in.  Giardia is not prevalent in our area, however if we continue to allow newborns to be shipped across the US and not be cared for by their mothers for a minimum of 8 weeks to maintain antibodies then diseases will be all over the US very soon.  Please stop this company from exporting dogs to other areas until they can comply with a decent level of care for dogs.  I would also investigate the veterinarian that attends to these dogs at their facility.
