Ameriplan Another work at home scam Plano Texas

I am posting this as an Indivdual, as I am not an EMPLOYEE of Ameriplan.  Nor are any of us who work from home with Ameriplan!  This is misconception a lot of people seem to be under -  like the person who posted this without really knowing the facts...

So, I shall explain it in terms where I believe anyone can comprehend.

Ameriplan is 21 year old, well established company - with over 500,000 providers nationwide on their network, offering savings discount plans on nearly everything! Things from dental, vision, prescription, medical, hospital, lawyers, theft id, child protection, even shopping, coupons, dining, recreation, car rental, and really - the list goes ON and ON.    There are currently around 70,000 Brokers who work from home with Ameriplan.

Me included!

So here is where your issue comes in.  When you work WITH Ameriplan  (with being the operative word here), you are not working FOR Ameriplan as an employee.  You are an Independent Business Owner working under the UMBRELLA (for lack of better words) of an already established business, and are able to market THEIR name as YOUR business name.   With the $19.95 annual fee that you pay, you get 5 ecommerce websites that Ameriplan keeps updated and running for you, You get a back office where you submit all your member application for new to members, keep track of your earnings, they have several pre-formatted flyers, business cards, pamphets, training, and much, much more available to you inside your office area.  You get daily training via phone conference calls and a training website.  You have a personal Mentor who takes you by the hand and guides you step by step to make YOUR business a success.  I am available to all my team members 24 hours a day if they need me.  I am passionate about helping them because I have been in their shoes... 

You do choose one of the member packages, which does determine your commission, however, you get ALL the benefits of said package.  I, for instance, saved $120.00 at the dentist the very first week I had my benefits, which more than covered my expense!  I just saved $75.00 the other day at the grocery store with my coupons too!!! And not only did I save the money, but as a business owner, I get to write off on my taxes the cost of this package, as well as my phone, internet, computer, gas, paper, pens, a portion of my mortgage - anything and everything I use for MY business. 

Another thing you are failing to take into consideration is; if you worked outside the home for a company, that company would (hopefully) offer you a benefit plan.  You would pay a portion of your check every pay period to pay for those benefits.  Here with Ameriplan, you get to have a very nice benefits package for a lot less than an employer would offer, and within it you get SO much more.  Now, I have never, ever seen or heard of anyone who works from home and gets a benefit plan!!! Much less for the cost you would spend on gas just to drive to a job everyday where you are making someone else rich.  

When you sign business onto your books, you continue to make a residual income month after month for that business you added once.  So, if you decide to take some time off, you still continue to get paid.  What a GREAT deal that is!!! You even get daily pay as well as this monthly residual income.  You get paid daily upfront pay for all new business you add to your books.  

Ameriplan has contracts with all these 500,000 providers, they keep this all updated as well.  Any new members that you sign, they send out all their member packets, membership cards, etc. All new Independent Owners that you help get started - get paid by Ameriplan!  You don't have to do any billing, collect any payment, submit any invoices.  This is all done for you!!!  So, you are a Business Owner with all the perks and none of the hassle. 

Ameriplan also has very nice member webpages for our members to access all their saving, and they also take care of all customer related issues.   

I would really like to see someone start their own home business for such a small upfront cost.  It would cost you WELL over this just to have a product.  Ameriplan offers the product!  

Our work consists of: Talking to people, signing them up, and getting paid.  

Really, I LOVE working with Ameriplan.  This company has changed my life.  It is my business and my passion. Not only do I get to set my own schedule, be my own boss, spend time with my family - I get to help SO many people who would not otherwise be able to get help for their dental, medical, etc.  This is the most fullfilling work I HAVE EVER DONE!!! 

I have not been burned, as you put it.  I don't even have to worry about my monthly benefit plan (which I use and love by the way), cause my earnings compensate me WELL over...

P. S.  If people really had jobs to offer where someone could just sit home and get paid, they would surely have enough family members more than eager to do it!!!  This is a "Business Opportunity", and nobody just hands someone a Business of their own for FREE.  Anyone who really wants to be financially secure and debt free, and wants to work from home with their OWN BUSINESS is going to have to be willing to make a small investment.  That is just reality.  Sorry if you can't wrap your mind around that!!! 

Sorry to see that you did not understand the difference between an Ameriplan Independent Business Oweners or IBO for short and an employee.

The only employees that Ameriplan has, are the people working at Corporate office in Plano, TX, the rest of us are IBO and the $20.p/yr is for the 5 website already set up for you to do business with. If we have to set up our own web site, how much is that going to cost? Have you check around? Is not cheap! The least expensive I have found is $9.00 p/month add up to $108.00.  So 20.00 per yr for 5 sites is a deal.

As IBO you are your own boss, so we have to paid for everything to get our business moving.  How much will it cost anyone to be an Avon, MaryKay rep, an insurance agent with office on Main St. or an ice cream vendor?   Every business has its own expenses and you as the business owner are responsible for it.  At the same time all your expenses are Tax deductable.

The other $50.00 that you are talking about is a for your own family health and dental coverage, very cheap if u ask me. When I worked for other companies I have to paid 1/2 for my own health insurance. Only CEO, COO, or any big wiggs dont pay for their insurance, but the rest of us have to pay all or part of it  Now is more expensive than few years back. Ask anyone that is working if $50-150.00 a month for coverage is a good deal

If you dont want to buy your own coverage, then dont, dont have to in order to work the business. So go back and find some extra info on that.

Its good that you are searching the credibility of the company and making sure this is something you want to do. But if you are looking for a JOB this is not for you.  Scam is a word that people use very loosely, but a company that is affeliated with the FBI cannot be a Scam.  Yes there  are good and bad people working within the company, we dont know who they are until they get cought doing something wrong and bringing a bad name for the company they work for.

If the Pastor of a church do something wrong, is the church or the pastor bad?  Should all the church members be considered bad?  I dont think so! But they may some that will leave that church in a split second. The same applied to all organization.  

Hope this clear the charges that you find odd to begin with.  

Remember we are Independent Business Owners not EMPLOYEES.

PS: Check any other company you wish to work with, you will find that some people has accused them to be a Scam.  Usually when it does not work for them its a Scam.  How sad is that!!
