Ameriquest Mortgage Co. ripoff,changed interest rates on a fixed loan Orange California

Not only does Ameriquest change interest rates on fixed loans-ours went from 5.5% to 7.5%-illegal-they fail by law to inform consumers of a prepayment penalty also.
The grace period for your payment for most mortgage companies including Ameriquest is 2 weeks past due date so due on the 1st of each month the grace period is to the 16th. Payments received by the 13th, 14th have been considered late by Ameriquest and resulted in late charges. Again not legal.
I am now and have been in a class action law suit against Ameriquest, their sentencing court date is Sept.27, 2004.After being found quilty a year ago last July in Superior Court of Ca.
I encourage all others to follow suit in filing a claim against Ameriquest-they deserve it!
