Americanexpress travel insurance is simply a rip-off.

I booked a R/T flight to europe for me and my son through Americanxpress travel, after a big commotion on the price quote they manage to charge me more than were suppoused because they were no able to issue electronic tickets so they sent paper tickets along my travel insurance package.

due another flight delay We end up barely to make our connection in Atlanta on our way to Rome Italy.

The Delta flight left gate with about 20 minutes delay only to set on the runway for another hour before takeoff.  we had booked our next leg from Rome about 2 hours a part from scheduled arrival.

We end up to loose our flight connection in rome due to the delay. After about 5 hours at the delta terminal they couldn't provide any trasportation till day after and lost my baggage we decided to rent a car to destination. 

Amex Assurance Co. will not honor your claim for for your travel and baggage delay or loss even you provvided all they requested. Amex travel assurance will invent clause NOT existing in the benefit detail panphlet and lie to not honor the policy you paid for coverage, will treat you as your were the froudolent party dispite you provided more proof  than you are riquired by contract.

Amex assurance company  examiners lie on informations they hope you don' t know how to obtain.
