On August 10, 2009 I answered an ad on craigslist looking for someone to do freelance webdesigns.  I was interested, so I submitted my resume.  Andy Stephens hired me to do graphic work at $20/hour and web work at $30/hour.  I signed a contract, and so did he stating I would be paid every two weeks with a paypal account or bank account.  I worked for him for 2 weeks doing about 60 designs for him. 

Payday came, August 28th.... no pay.  I emailed him and he didn't respond until the next day.  Said he was out of town.  He then told me that there was a problem with his paypal, he would have to send me a check.  I waited for 2 weeks for this check that never came. 

I then asked why there is not a check and asked him to send me the money another way.  He then said that he was sending an echeck over paypal... of course.. it bounced. 

Between waiting for a check in the mail and the echeck, I got in touch with another person he has done this too.  He owes me a total of $1450.00.

This man gives webdesigners a very bad name!  And rips off innocent families!!!  This man needs to be in jail... do not do any type of business with him!!!
