Antivirus 2009, Antivirus software to fix viruses on your computer Internet
*Consumer Suggestion: To Jeanette In Reply To The 2009 Anti-Virus Popup
Several people have been ripped off with this scam also. Warnings came up on my screen of a major virus which could only be repaired by a so called safe Internet Antivirus Pro, cost $49.95. I have just been charged on my charge card. Antivirus 2009 is not a product. I purchased it and had all of the icons for the link but none of them worked as they have all been deleted. The program is not in my Control Panel or anywhere else. If you go to CHrpay.com/prna you will see all the people who have been scammed so far. I alsready had my charge card cancelled and I am disputing the charge.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
To Jeanette In Reply To The 2009 Anti-Virus Popup
AUTHOR: Don & Wanda Reed - (U.S.A.)

Jeanette:..Unfortunately the pop-up (2009 Anti-Virus) that appeared on your screen installed itself..Weather you would have accepted to purchase or not, the "trojan" was already there via the pop-up..A few months ago my brother-in-law had the exact same problem on his laptop..He isn't familiar with computers/internet, but when this pop-up appeared, he had me look at it..I knew immediately there was a problem..I told my brother-in-law, that I would click onto "No/Decline" to whereas the pop-up disappeared..Then I rebooted..I knew if the pop-up reappeared (and it did) there was a major problem..It was a "trojan"..I couldn't even uninstall it from add/remove..I told my brother-in-law, that "restoring his computer" would only take it back to the original manufacturers settings..Just like you bought it brand new out of the box..I also said, "but it wouldn't remove the "trojan"..So I suggested he take it into Office Depot, and tell them what happened, and what I concluded about it..The technician at Office Depot told Bobby (brother-in-law) that his sister-in-law (myself) was "exactly correct"..It costed Bobby $120's to get his laptop fixed..They had to completely re-format his laptop..
