I will try to cover SOME details because I know most of you are in different stages of your rip-off.

I signed up on August 31 2004, (Discover Card & CH DVD club) 6 weeks later I started trying to contact them via. email resulting in no reply. I could see by their web site that my Discover card was not yet approved, I contacted Discover card and they informed me that they "appoved me" on Sept. 6th. I emailed again a told them I would be seeking a class action suit.

They finally appoved me to print my certificates on Nov. 22nd 2004. Printing itself was a problem, I had to use a third party screen print software. I mailed my certificates (registered, requiring signiture for about $5). They got it on December 1st 2004.

I found this web site and phone number the end of Jan. 2005 and called them. They said I had to wait 8 weeks for processing and then another 2 weeks for delivery. Feb. 10th 2005 was the deadline. I called again on the Feb. 11th, they said they were "out of stock" and put me on rush status, this would take another 4 weeks (March 9th).

I called again today, since its been exactly 6 monthes since I started my journey down rip-off lane (I skipped mensioning a few "extra" calls in between.) I asked what other options I had, if I could substitute or get a cash value ... she said no. She told me that if I called at the end of the 4 weeks that she could then put me back on the "expidited list" again, and then I need to wait another 4 weeks and repeat as needed.

I will be calling Discover and Colunbia House and urge them to cut off ties and stop supporting "rip-offs". I will try to convince CH that I signed up under "false pretence". Although it is true, I realize nothing will happen. I will personally boycot anyone listed on anyfreegift.com (and affiliates) web sites. It MAY be helpfull if we all do the same.

It is a shame that this great nation is so desensitized to internet scams that this will all be allowed and the sleeze bag that runs this web site will prosper, gold chains and all.

I wish there was a way for me to leave contact info here. How can we fight if we can't unite?

Almost 7 monthes, and countless long dist. phone calls, but I finally DID get my GameBoy SP.

I still suggest you avoid the hassle, but I guess if you have lots of time .... go for it.
