AP9 SHOPPINGESSENTIA, Passport To Fun passport to fun... yeah right!!!! these people got my info and starting billing my credit card account without my permission, bank of america wont do a thing to help me! Dont Know dont know

While booking a rental car online with 'Dollar rent a car' I was tricked in to putting in my info twice. the second time it was linked to a fraudulant site which then informed me I was joined to a club called 'passport to fun'. They then told me they were going to bill me every month. I was upset because I never intended to join any club I was just trying to rent a car. So I called the number on the site and cancelled the membership. They confirmed I had cancelled and would not be billed. I thought it was all over, till I noticedfew months later that I had been billed $14.95 a month since. I contacted Bank of America who said they would take ccare of the charges, but have since told me it was my fault because I joned their club. I tried to get the police to do something, but they told me that it is not illegal because I gave themmy credit card number. which is so stupid!! I handle hundreds of credit card numbers every day at my job, does this mean that because people give them to my volenteerally to pay for their hotel room that I can use it to join some bogus club!!! "thankyou for staying with us, we have your visa on file for your room charges, oh and by the way you are now part of the 'fun club' and I will be billing your card $20 a month from now on"----thats apparently not illegal!!

it comes up as AP9 SHOPPINGESSENTA on my bill. there was never any goods or services provided just money out of myaccount. Nobody is taking action, and nobody is taking responsibility!!!!! they are ripping off people and getting away with it!!!! some one has to stop them!!!!
