Promised Refund Checks: Reviewing credit card statement (on 6/5/07), found 2 strange 14.95 charges, called the imbedded 888 number, complained.

They promised (on 6/05/07) to mail refund checks (2 of them, one each charge) and to stop charging credit card.

ShopEssen claimed I requested a $25 discount certificate from Home Depot via a popup advertisement and thereby agreed to monthly contract for discount shopping. However, I have no discount certificate and no other known discounts.

Also sent email to credit card company rejecting the charges, included ripoffreport url showing complaints from numerous other folks.

I expect to call/mail the credit card company soon; will be back here to post results of the promised refund checks from ShoppingEssen.
