Ever since we bought our 1995 Ford Windtsar we have had problems. Although the vehicle itself was really not that bad, getting repairs completed at all and then having them do them right the first time was a nightmare. I would say it took 2-3 times of bringing the van in to get it fixed beofre the repairs were completed. One repair took 5 visits. I spoke to the manager of the service department and although he was very pleaseant and even gave me afree loaner the nightmares continued. It gets worse. I even met with the customer service rep and she said that she would never come back to the dealership either. So... I finally met with the owner George Doetsche. You would think at this point that i would get satisfaction. No such luck. I met with him for 2 hours. He so kindly offered to do the repiars at cost and give me a free loaner. Well..... the orgiinal problem was now not a problem but a new and even more expensive one was. We quickly picked up the car and i can happily say sold it to Car Max. There are more details about our nightmare that i shared with various people in the Apple Ford organization and also Ford corporation but of course they never responded.

Next time wear goggles!

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 17, 2006

I don't know what apple of my eye has to do with anything, but you can bet Apple Ford is seriously messing up it's customer's cars. I've heard all the complaints I am willing to listen to about the crappy work Apple Ford is doing, so I'm trying a different place. I suggest you do the same. Ford may have nice cars, but this is my second Taurus, and the second dealership I assume has screwed me over intentionally. The reason Apple Ford can't do the job right the first time is because they don't use trained mechanics. These are fresh outs (HS) who get cut loose after screwing up, and become an all-purpose safety valve just in case Apple Ford is tried in a criminal court of law. If you think 20 million cases of asthma is too much, then imagine the risk you're taking at Apple Ford having your car worked on knowing they've vandalized cars.

DId you get a metal fleck in your eyeball too?

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 17, 2006

I visited Apple Ford's repairshops to check on the quality of repairs. I got a metal fleck from a pnumatic grinder in my eye, and had to have it pulled with tweezers. The fleck was hot and painful when it adhered to my eyeball. I went through a bottle of Vizine.
