Apple Law Group, ALG, deceptive, incompetent, do not return calls, Newport Beach California

Obtained services for debt settlement,  I had committed to the creditor monthly payments. I contacted the Apple Law Group and theu said to stop paying them and they will take over the case. I obtained their services, and put stop payments on what I was paying and shortly after the creditor placed a lien on my property. I called the law group several times only to tell me that I will get a call back. After waiting a week without a call back, I called again with the same response. Only after I asked to cancel my services did I get a call back. I was sent a settlement offer that had the wrong case number with a different creditors information on it. I called them to bring this to their attention and thry adked that I fax it to them. The program was to make payments every month and then make a lump sum payment. They were negotiating 6000 dollar lump sum payments instead of the monthly accumulated amounts. I decided to take on this myself since they were not doing anything for my situation.  I paid about 2500 dollars and when I requested refund they said made it seem like I was not going along with the program. They sent me a check of refund gor 102 dollars. These people are crooks. Deal with the creditors directly.
