Appliance Professor Mike Usher Took money, never repaired dishwasher, never returned one phone called in six weeks New Braunfels, Texas

We had a dishwasher that was in need of repair.  We called Mike Usher, Appliance Professor, and he came out right away to take a look.  He said that the circuit board needed to be replaced and was on backorder from Bosch.  He charged me $79 for a service call that day and said when the part came in, the service call fee could go toward the parts and labor for repair.  Mr. Usher promised to call me the next day with updated information and an estimated time of delivery for that part.  The next day, he never called.  I called and left a message for him a couple days later, he did not call me back.  The next week, I called again, but he did not call me back.  His initial service call to my house was at the beginning of February.  It is now March 15 and Mr. Usher has NEVER once contacted me after that initial visit.  One time, I managed to speak with his wife or secretary who promised she would ask him about the part and call me back and I never heard from her either.  In the last six weeks, I have left approximately eight messages with Mr. Usher.  Each time, I left my name and phone number so he could contact me, but he chose not to.  I cannot imagine worse customer service.  I have given up any hope of resolving the issue with this individual, but I do hope to spare other folks the same fate.  We have someone else coming out tomorrow morning.
