AppStar Small Businesses BEWARE, Internet

Picture this.

It's a busy Friday morning, you are anxious to get home for the weekend, and a salesman shows up during your lunch break promising you "substantial savings" from your current credit card processing company.

He's friendly and convincing, so you listen to his offer.  It sounds good, and he promises you substantial savings, so you sign on the bottom line.

It's all lies.

AppStar cost me $800 in "early cancellation fees" because they would not process my customer's transaction.  Even worse, they kept the money ($4,480) even though they would not give it to me nor refund it to my customer.

So, I called AppStar and asked to speak with a manager.  She was VERY rude and did not care about my situation as a small business owner.

This also happened to a colleague of mine.  It appears to be their standard MOD: tell the customer what they want to hear until they sign the contract, then screw them.

Stay away from AppStar; the credit card processing fees from established financial institutions may be higher, but there's a reason why.

AppStar is a devious company seeking only to make money by misleading small businesses.
