Apartment Movers ripoff Phoenix Arizona

On January 2, 2004 we moved with Apt Movers. They were 8 hours late for their start time, they called once to say they would be 2 hours late. During the move they broke two pieces of furniture, a floor lamp and an entertainment unit. They tried to hide both breaks. They did not let us know they damaged or broke any item when it qas quite evident that both items were broken.

When we called the company they seemed concerned, asked for photographs and told us that they would be mailing us a check for the damaged items. After a month went by, we called to see how everything was going and that is when everything started to go down hill.

They said it would take 8 weeks for the check to process. At 8 weeks we called and they stated that we would not be recieving any money for our damaged and irreplacable items. We have tried to call once a week, wrote e-mails as late as 4/2/04. Management refuses to take our calls and will not respond to our e-mails.
