Arcadia Financial LTD Bad accounting practices Carol Stream Illinois

Hi All:

I have been reading all the reports on Arcadia and I'm not sure of exactly where I stand. My then fiancee and I purchased a car through Arcadia Financial about 3 years ago. Last year, I filed for bankruptcy and was told by my attorney that he would still be held responsible for the car. It was basically a peace of junk, so he had them come and pick it up a few months later. We recieved papers from them saying that they would be in touch with us regarding the balance owed on the car and if their was a bankruptcy filing then we wouldnt be responsible for it.

I have not heard from them since last year, but on Friday someone tried to send us certified mail and I'm thinking that it can only be from them because we dont owe anyone else. Every time that I tried to get info they would say that it was including in Banruptcy and there was nothing owed. After reading this, I'm thinking that this may be a long drawn out ordeal with them. I just wanted to know if anyone else had been through anything like this with them and if you could offer some advice. I can be emailed at tondalea700@msn.com.

I havent been able to make it to the post office yet to get the mail, so I'm not 100 % sure that it's from them.
