arcadia financial phone number 1-302-342-8805 left mesaages on my answering machine claiming my dead wife was going to have stae or federal actions taken against her wilmington Delaware

I had several voice mails left on my home phone,

on 1/15/15

"a claim has been filed against you  for scheduled processing for your state and federal law. Legal action may be necessary. It is imperative that you press 9 to speak with a claims agent or call 1-302-342-8805"

My wife has had medical that needed payment which I am handling.

When I called and told them my wife had died they said they wuold remove the phone number.

On 1/23 I got another message. When I called and asked what this was about - the woman said it was an autodialer and she didn't know the details of the account. I told her I was not the person they were calling- my wife has died. I gave the phone number that they left the message on. She said I would be  removed from the auto dialer .

I have heard stories about companies trying to scam money from senior citizens by doing things like this....

If they were real wouldn't they send paper/bills/collection notices through first regular mail before making phone calls?
