Arnott Inc sells Junk!!!

We have had two compressors fail within their warranty period and both were returned to Arnott Inc.  It has been over two years since the defective compressors were returned, and no refund has been recieved to date - Does this sound similar to the report from "SITTIN LOW HUNTINGDON VALLEY Pennsylvania"?.  I was required to replace the compressors with new compressors from our local Ford dealership.  Not only am I out the money I paid Arnott Inc, but also the cost of the new compressors I purchased from the Ford dealership and the loss of two good customers.  I faxed Lisa at Arnott Inc about the status of the refund, without a respose from her or anyone from Arnott Inc - SHOCKING!!!    I have been in the automotive business since 1991 and always honor my customers valid warranties and even some questionable warranties.  Arnott Inc needs a lesson in good "customer service"

We at Arnott regret and apologize for your negative experience with our company and have taken major steps to make sure that this doesn’t happen to others. On or about the time of your incident (mid to late 2011) Arnott was experiencing tremendous growth and the growing pains that accompany such growth. We don’t get many complaints but both that appear on this site were from around that time. To better manage that growth and to provide exceptional customer support Arnott Inc. moved from the Cape Canaveral location you mentioned to a new 200,000 square foot facility in Merritt Island, Florida. The larger facility enabled us to expand our engineering, R&D, manufacturing, shipping and testing operations. We also more than doubled the number of employees in our call center and we have added dedicated staff to handle returns and answer installation and technical questions.

Arnott Inc. takes the safety of its products and customers very seriously. Every Arnott product, including our Ford replacement air suspension compressors have gone through literally years of testing. The compressors we sell are not manufactured by Arnott but we do run them through considerable testing. We work with name brand air compressor manufacturers such as GAST, WABCO and AMK to make the OE equivalent pumps we sell. The compressors we carry for Fords have gone through extensive real-world testing for many years.  While I can’t speak to the problems you encountered – we have sold thousands of these without incident. Arnott has maintained an excellent reputation among garages, installers, on auto forums and we have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Once again we apologize for any inconvenience that our compressors caused you and your customers and we would be eager to try and earn your business again someday. Please contact us if we can be of service in the future and you can rest assured that similar problems will not occur to you or others.

The Arnott Town Car Replacement Air Spring was one of the 1st products we made and has gone through extensive real-world testing for over two decades.  While I can’t speak to the problems you encountered – we have sold thousands of these without incident. Arnott has maintained an excellent reputation among garages, installers, on auto forums and we have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
