Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
My 80 year old Mother was contacted by ARS National and left an urgent message for me to contact the company. I called, they would not tell me why they called and wanted me to verify who I was. I am not the person they were trying to find. But that was up to me to prove. They wanted birthdate and last 4 digits of SS#, which I stupidly gave them. Now I am concerned with Identity theft.
I asked that my Mother's phone number be taken off their call list. They still never told me why they were calling for 'me' . And it was not clear if her number was deleted.

It is hard for people to do their job..Ma'am as from this website alone it should be come clear to you the nature of ARS business. There is nothing that someone can do with your birthday or last four of your social. The amount of possibities for filling in the missing 5 digits would be endless and not worth anyone's time. A collection agency has to make sure the right party is on the line before disclosing information regarding the debt. IF it was not you they were looking for and the call was ended the number was probally removed. Debt collectors do not want to waste their time with someone that is not going to pay the bill.
