I would grade this company an F-minus.
After being their customer for 8 years (started out as Guardian then morphed into ASG), and after enduring 4 price hikes during that time, we canceled last month. Their monthly payment had already been withdrawn from our checking account, but they refuse to give us any refund for the month of March after we had canceled their service. (We went with another company.)
ASG has taken and is keeping our money for a service they did not provide for the month of March. Theft, pure and simple. Ironic that someone in the business of preventing theft would, themselves, rob you. This is how they treat long-term customers. Once you leave, you are yesterday's trash to them.

There was no ASG contract.

We did not have a contract with ASG. Our contract was with Guardian. No new contract was offered or signed when ASG and Guardian became one.
After much searching, I found our Guardian contract from 8 years ago. It states they wanted 60 days notice if we did not wish to renew. It says nothing about cancellation.
We have no contract with ASG stating exactly what their policy is. When we contacted them to cancel service, they did not mention a 30-day policy.
Now, over a month later when we contact them to ask about our refund, they bring up this 30-day excuse.

If they're violating their own terms, yes they owe you. If they're not, get over it.
NO I DON'T work for them.
