Aspire Visa Card ripoff poor customer service lies Columbus Georgia

This company is by the worst of all credit card companies. They have the worst customer service ever. Customers are treated like criminals by a bunch of foreign accented people. They continuosuly lie to you and keep tacking on fees that are unwarranted. I experienced an incident where my wallet was stolen and I had to cancel all my cards and bank account. I called the other credit card company I had a card with and they were extremely sympathetic and gracious. They promptly cancelled my card and reissued another one. I called the morons at Aspire and it took me 8 days to get anyone to talk to. I sent email after email to get a confirmation that the card was cancelled. No response. I finally sent an email that said if I do not get the confirmation the card is cancelled, I will not pay. They eventually called me and demanded my payment, still not confirming the card was cancelled. They told me if I paid over the phone they will not charge me for the phone payment. BIG LIE! Next statment, they tacked on a $12.00 charge. I was furious. It also cost $4.95 to make a payment on the web. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE????
