Tom in financing made up information about my credit that was false.  Then they killed the deal and refused to talk to me.  The most ridiculous thing I have ever seen!!!

The general manager refused to talk to me.  Left the poor sales rep who spent two weeks and several hours trying to sell me a vehicle high and dry!!!

Unbelievable how these guys stay in business.

The car deal was for $43,000 with a trade and transportation.  They advertise internet sales, and long distance selling but when it came to sign papers they stated that my credit report had flags (which it did not) thereby allowing them to tell me to "get my own financing and then we could talk".  I was simply planning to use their financing to secure the car with at leaSt 10% down and a payoff at a later date.  they said I was a risk being from out of state--why advertise on the internet the???  Even when I offered cash they had no desire to talk nor to even call me for over 8 hours the last day.

At the end of the day --run from dealing with these jokers unless you can fly, drive or walk there to talk to them face to face-----buy locally!

For your information, it was taken to a reputable dealer and I received a clean bill of health on the car from the service manager.  It was also still under factory warranty as well as I ran the carfax.  Thanks for calling me stupid.

Why don't you post something that adds value instead of just blabber.

Lets examine this for a minute, shall we?  All as per your posting, you were about to put yourself on the hook for $43,000 for a USED CAR, right?  Oh but wait, there's more...you were about to put yourself on the hook for $43,000 for a used car you've NEVER seen, you've NEVER test driven, you've NEVER looked at for cosmetic imperfections, you've NEVER checked out all the accessories, you've NEVER heard the engine and you've NEVER had your own mechanic check out BEFORE buying.  You were about to obligate yourself to an INCREDIBLY STUPID purchase.  Thank God right now for intervening on your behalf to prevent you from doing something which can ONLY be described as STUPID.  You're right, buy locally.  Buying a used car sight unseen on the internet is nothing short of incredibly stupid.
