Atlantic Circulation Young man cons you into buying magazine subscription for points towards a trip. York Pennsylvania

BEWARE!!!!!! Young individuals claiming they are students trying to gain points to win points for free trips and money to college. They also ask you to come into your home so they can explain how it works. These individuals are very good at what they do and are trained to say what the customer wants to hear. I wrote him a check and after the fact went on the internet and looked up the company. I found many reports from people who never received their subscriptions and claimed the company to be a fraud. I even looked up their website which had pictures from 2005 of 3 young people on a boat. If this company gives away trips so often and pays for college then where are the updated pictures. The website was very vague. I even found an article about a young girl who worked for the company claiming horrible things they did to her. After reading the information I quickly dashed out my front door got in my car and drove around my subdivision looking for the young man. I found him down the street at another home.

I asked him to come to my truck and explained to him how I read about the company being a fraud and I wanted my check back. He just said "oh I'm sorry" and asked me
for the receipt and gave me the check. He continued down the neighborhood selling.

This company needs to be investigated and stopped! I wish I would have never let him in my home. I am now fearful he may try to come back and rob us. I did read in a
previous complaint from ex-employee that some employees were stealing. PLEASE DO NOT LET THESE YOUNG PEOPLE INTO YOUR HOME OR GIVE THEM ANY MONEY! EVEN IF THEY SAY THEY ARE GIVING TO THE TROOPS OR CHILDRENS HOSPITAL! BEWARE!!!!!
