Contracted with Atochamex to transport belongings from Califonria to La Paz in Baja.

And paid them $2500per contract. They picked up the goods 2 days later demanded an additional $2700 if I ever wanted to see my things again. When the shipment did arrive in La Paz it was missing truly almost half of what they had picked up! Because they apparently neither provide nor require documentation of what they are transporting, there is no way of knowing if my things were lost, stolen or delivered elswewhere. Atochamex has nothing to say about my situtation- they could care less!

Atochamex is partners with La Palmas Trucking and Transportes Cartes.

It's a Mexican company after all. You're living in a corrupt third-world country, that's what you're going to get. If you can't even trust police in that country why would moving companies be any better? No wonder millions of them are trying to get into the U.S.
