AT&T Ripoff charged me for roaming in areas where it is shown in the coverage map that it covers Anaheim Hills California
*Consumer Suggestion: Check Your Contract To See If Plan Covers Roaming In All Areas
*Author of original report: charged me $1018 for roaming
I am writing to let you know that I am dissatisfied with your service for the following reasons:
Unrealistic claims about your coverage-your maps should better match your service.
. Too much waiting time before I get to talk to a customer service personnel.
.Rude replies from the representatives.
.Charging me for roaming in places where I get ATT&T service.( Shown in the coverage map).
I'm happy to listen if you would like to discuss any of these issues with me.

Check Your Contract To See If Plan Covers Roaming In All Areas

Hi,
I sympathize with you on your situation. Too often what we see and what we get are two different things.
I'd recommend for you to read your contract and ensure that your cell service has nationwide roaming. Sometimes some plans have national coverage but only for "their network". This means that if you leave their network and roam onto other networks you'll have roaming charges. Service or coverage area maps can be very deceiving and usually have some sort of disclaimer, always in fine print.
AT&T should be able to resolve this for you with some amicable solution. I'd go through their "chain of command" until a supervisor or manager who can resolve your problem is reached.
Good Luck! That's a good chunk of money to resolve.

I would also like to include that they have charged me $1018 for roaming. Which any sane person will not pay for just one month !!!!!
