Auctionmonster I had been filling out a survey and was asked if I would like to receive information on Auctions. I was to receive this information & only pay shipping. I received the information. I logged on to the website and decided right away that this was not a business in which I was interested. I called to cancel & was told it was cancelled, but they submitted an invoice Nationwide

I do not know where this company is located. The information came from an address in Lewes, DE.
I see that they already have 15 reports against them. I have already contacted the Ohio Attorney General, but have not heard back from them.
I will be contacting the Attorney General's office again with the new information which I have found on this site.

When I called the 800 number for AuctionMonster, I spoke with a female who said no problem she would cancel my membership. At that time I also emailed my bank asking what I needed to do to to stop Auctionmonster from charging my bank. I was told that the money was showing up as pending and that as long as Auctionmonster did not send in an invoice, there would be no charge.

A week later I found that they had sent the invoice through to my bank. This was for $59.95. That might not sound like much to most people, but I am 63 years old and disabled. That means a small, fixed income. To me that is grocery money.

I called Auctionmonster and spoke with another female who told me that yes my membership was cancelled, but it was too late and therefore they could not refund the money.

I emailed a complaint to the Ohio Attorney General's office and received an email from them telling me that they would be contacting Auctionmonster and then would get back with me. I have not heard back as of 4-1-08.

I intend to email the Attorney General's office again with the information from this website. I found 15 complaints against Auctionmonster on Ripoff Report.

Thank you for having this website.

P.S. I have purchased a number of other programs, software, etc in the last few months and have had no problem with any other company.
