Audible.com I created an account and ordered a few books from them. Little did I know that they had set me up on a monthly subscription and charged me $75 before I noticed the charges. This company is manipulat Audible.com, monthly subscription, Rip Off Internet, Internet

I ordered a few audio book from Audible.com. Little did I know that I was placed on a monthly subscription of $14.99 per month. They took $75 from me before I realized it. They are misleading and deceptive. BEWARE!

How can you not know you are paying a subscription

The info you are claiming is a scam is all over the website. Join and get two audio books free (or 1 which ever the case is). In return you are signing up for a monthly rate that qualifies you for x amoount of points a month and for every some many points you get a free download. You pay for any other books over those.
Just because you don't know how to read or are incapable of understanding the wording does not mean you were ripped off.
You could have cancelled at any time but did not and now you have to pay for the months you used the service.
