Auto Advantage ripoff Hendersonville North Carolina

I was told that the car was a new demo model that has never been titled. It has been titled. I was trying to get financed through my bank in florida but was also told that if i could give them my permission that they would do what was called a "back door" check to see if my credit score was high enough that it would not make an inquiry on my credit.



The next thing I know is that they told me I was appoved with there financing. I was told that the papers I was signing were to be redone once my wife came in to sign and that I was only signing in order to take the car home and show her, that the file had not been sent to the bank and would not be sent until the next day when my wife came in to resign and redo the paper work. The very next day (August 4, 2004) I called the company and informed them that I was bringing the car back that we had decided to not buy it.

I was called back by Gary Cole and was told that the car was mine and that the finacning manager Paul had no right to tell me what he did when I signed and that he would get on to him. They told me I was stuck with the car. My wife and I went down there and were told the same. They made me sign papers under duress in hopes of getting a lower payment since we were told that we were stuck with the car. I was lied to and don't appreciate it what so ever. I have contacted the Times News and they are doing a story on this.
