I listed my car for sale on autotrader.ca a week or so ago.  A few days later,  'Amy' (a 'Junior Account Executive') called me, saying they could guarantee they'd sell my car in 90 days for $500, $400 for the listing, $100 for the guarantee. (Of which $400 is refunded)

I figured it was a scam, so I never went any further with it, yesterday 'Cody' (a 'finance manager') called saying they had a buyer in a town near me.  I said no thanks, you guys are a scam.  'Cody' argued with me for a bit, and said he could get me exactly what I was asking for the car (which, to be fair, is above blue book value, which by their own refund eligibility requirements, excludes me from refund)

Anyway, I was stupid and agreed, 'Cody' transferred me to 'Rachelle', who verified my credit card info, and said I would recieve 3 emails stating how the sale would go down.  24 hours later, I still don`t have any emails, even in my spam folder.

So today I try calling their 1-888 number, no answer, no automated system, no receptionist, nothing.  I looked them up on BBB`s website, they have an F rating, I just wish I had thought of it yesterday.

anyway, I tried to get Capital One to reverse the charges, but they said until the charge actually goes through (it`s in the pre-auth stage) they can`t begin the contention process.

Do NOT deal with this company by any means, they will take your money and you will never hear from them again.
